OFFICIAL. Ilkay Gündogan is returning to Manchester City

German midfielder İlkay Gündoğan has left Barcelona and officially returned to Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola has agreed to the transfer. The contract with the player is set until June 2025. It is also known that despite his lengthy contract with Barcelona, the German will return to Manchester City as a free agent, meaning for free.

Gündogan only moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2023 from Man City. In 51 matches for the Catalans, he distinguished himself with 5 goals and 14 assists.
