Graham Potter took charge of the Sweden national team during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and has now decided to remain in the role for the long term.
Details: As officially announced by the Sweden national team, the coach has signed a new deal with the squad, running until 2030.

I had a very positive first period as Sweden’s head coach and am extremely pleased with the collaboration with everyone. Sweden is a footballing nation with a proud history, whose teams have succeeded and competed on the world stage, and we want to return to that," Potter said.
Sweden is preparing for the World Cup qualifying play-offs. They will face Ukraine on March 26. If they advance, they will play the winner of the Poland/Albania tie.
