Official: Fabio Paratici steps down as Tottenham sporting director and will join Fiorentina

Paratici will move to the Serie A club after the close of the winter transfer window, bringing an end to two spells at Tottenham — the first of which began in the summer of 2021.
Details: Tottenham's official social media channels have announced that the club's sporting director, Fabio Paratici, will leave the team in February to join Italian side Fiorentina.
Tottenham CEO Vinai Venkatesham commented:
"We have agreed that Fabio will return to Italy after the January transfer window closes, in line with his wish to return home. We thank Fabio for his contribution to the club's development and wish him all the best for the future."
Paratici himself added:
"I want to thank Vinai and the Tottenham management for respecting my wish to return to Italy and join Fiorentina."
It has been reported that Paratici will take up the role of Fiorentina's new head of football operations from February 4.
