Details: Tottenham have officially confirmed that midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has undergone surgery on his right hamstring.
Bentancur will soon begin his rehabilitation under the supervision of the club’s medical staff. The London club’s statement did not specify a recovery timeline; however, earlier reports indicated the player will certainly be unavailable for the remainder of the season.
Notably, this season the midfielder has already made 28 appearances for the Spurs, recording just one goal and one assist.
Reminder: Tottenham snatched Conor Gallagher from Aston Villa at the last moment.
