Here we go! Tottenham snatches Conor Gallagher from Aston Villa at the last moment

The Spurs are set to officially announce the signing of Gallagher soon.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, the 25-year-old central midfielder from Atlético Madrid, Conor Gallagher, will soon become a full-fledged Tottenham player.

Reports suggest that Tottenham managed to hijack Gallagher from Aston Villa, despite Atlético having already reached an agreement with the "Lions."

Tottenham will sign Gallagher on a permanent deal and pay the "Rojiblancos" around €40 million, while Aston Villa had only wanted to take the midfielder on loan.

Conor Gallagher joined Atlético Madrid in 2024 from London’s Chelsea for €42 million. He made 77 appearances for Los Colchoneros, scoring 7 goals and providing 7 assists.

Gallagher’s current contract with Atlético runs until 2029, and his market value, according to Transfermarkt, is estimated at €35 million.
