Official: Crystal Palace make significant signing
Crystal Palace continues its ambitious squad overhaul ahead of the new season.
Details: Crystal Palace has officially announced the signing of 21-year-old Israel international Anan Khalaili from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise. The newcomer has penned a long-term contract with the London club.
It was reported yesterday that all the formalities of Khalaili's transfer had been completed, with the deal with Union Saint-Gilloise valued at around £21 million. The player is viewed as a key reinforcement for Crystal Palace's right flank.
The club made a splash on social media, unveiling their new signing and hailing Khalaili as South London's latest resident.
Khalaili spent last season with Union Saint-Gilloise and will now test his skills in English football for the first time.
Notably, during the 2025/26 season, Khalaili made 38 appearances in the Belgian league, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists. In total, he played 101 matches and netted 8 goals for Union Saint-Gilloise.
