Crystal Palace are wrapping up a blockbuster transfer and are poised to sign a key addition for their right flank.

Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, London club Crystal Palace have finalized all the formalities for the transfer of 21-year-old Israeli footballer Anan Khalaili from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise. The two clubs have agreed on a fee of £21 million (around €24.5 million), and official paperwork is now being prepared to register the deal.

Notably, Khalaili's move to Inter Milan in July 2026 fell through due to strict medical regulations in Italy—medical checks under the supervision of CONI revealed issues that prevented him from being cleared to play in Serie A. Nevertheless, Crystal Palace have successfully completed negotiations. The versatile player, capable of covering the entire right flank—from full-back and wing-back to winger—will sign a five-year contract with the Londoners until 2031, with an option for a further season.

It’s worth noting that in the 2025/26 season, Anan Khalaili made 28 league appearances for Union Saint-Gilloise, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist. He also netted a Champions League brace against Marseille and helped the club lift the Belgian Cup. Respected portal Transfermarkt values the player at €23 million.
