OFFICIAL: Conor Gallagher returns to the Premier League

Tottenham have decided to reinforce their midfield and have reached an agreement with Atlético Madrid to bring Gallagher back to the Premier League.

Details: The Spurs officially announced on their X page that they have completed the transfer of Conor Gallagher from Atlético Madrid.

Earlier reports indicated that Tottenham will pay Los Rojiblancos around €40 million, while Aston Villa had wanted to take the midfielder on loan only.

Conor Gallagher joined Atlético Madrid in 2024 from London’s Chelsea for €42 million. He played 77 matches for Los Colchoneros, scoring 7 goals and providing 7 assists.

Reminder: Paratici will move to a Serie A club after the winter transfer window closes, concluding two spells at Tottenham, the first of which began in summer 2021.
