Official: Claudio Echeverri Joins Manchester City

Manchester City has completed the transfer of young Argentine talent Claudio Echeverri. He has now officially joined his new team.

Details: Manchester City has officially unveiled the young Argentine midfielder. Previously, he continued playing in Argentina as he was under 18. In his new team, Echeverri will wear the number 30 jersey.

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland has become only the second player in history to score 20+ goals in each of his first three Premier League seasons. Before him, only Manchester United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy achieved this feat from the 2001/02 to 2003/04 seasons.

Reminder: Echeverri is a product of the River Plate football academy. He made his debut for the club's first team on June 22, 2023, in an Argentine Primera match against Instituto. In December 2023, Manchester City agreed on his transfer for 25 million euros.
