OFFICIAL. Borussia Dortmund have announced the transfer of the Hoffenheim star

Borussia Dortmund continues to be active in the transfer market this summer, and today the club announced the signing of their fourth new player.

The latest addition to Borussia Dortmund is forward Maximilian Beier, who has officially joined from Hoffenheim. The transfer fee was €28.5 million, and the 21-year-old German has signed a five-year contract.

Earlier this summer, Borussia Dortmund strengthened their squad with the signings of striker Serhou Guirassy, central defender Waldemar Anton, and right-back Yan Couto.

Last season, Beier impressed with 16 goals and 3 assists in 33 Bundesliga matches.

It’s worth noting that Borussia Dortmund finished fifth in the Bundesliga last season but managed to reach the Champions League final, where they lost 0-2 to Real Madrid.
