OFFICIAL. Bernardo Silva to leave Manchester City after this season

Bernardo Silva has spent many years at Manchester City, but that chapter is now drawing to a close, and he will soon leave the club.

Details: Bernardo Silva has already officially informed the club that this season will be his last at the Etihad. This was also confirmed by assistant head coach Pepijn Lijnders.

Quote: “Every good story eventually comes to an end, and I hope he enjoys these final months — it’s only six weeks — and says his goodbyes properly. He fully deserves all this attention,” Guardiola’s assistant stated.

Silva signed for Manchester City on May 26, 2017, on a five-year contract. The transfer fee amounted to £43 million.

Reminder: On April 4 and 5, the FA Cup quarter-final matches took place in England. There was no shortage of drama, as one of the main contenders for the title saw their hopes of lifting the trophy challenged.
