OFFICIAL. Bayern Munich has signed the defender from the England national team

Bayern Munich has officially announced the signing of the defender from Tottenham and the England national team Eric Dier.

The Munich-based club has inked an agreement with the defender until the end of the current season, with an option for extension for another year. In his new team, the Englishman will wear the number 15 jersey.

Previously reported, the transfer fee is estimated to be around four million euros.

The 29-year-old Englishman moved to Tottenham from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2014 for 5 million euros. In total, he has played 364 matches for Spurs, scoring 13 goals and providing 12 assists.

Tottenham has also confirmed the signing of the central defender from the Romania national team Radu Drăgușin, as a replacement for Dier.
