Tottenham has officially announced the acquisition of the Romanian national team defender
Tottenham has officially announced the signing of Genoa's defender Radu Dragusin.
The Romanian national team player has inked a contract with the London club lasting until 2030. The defender will wear the number six jersey in his new team.
Spurs have secured the central defender, beating competition from Bayern Munich and AC Milan. Earlier reports indicated that the London club would pay around 30 million euros for the transfer.
The 21-year-old Romanian center-back played for Genoa last season on loan from Juventus, and the club permanently acquired him for 5.5 million euros in the summer. In the current season, he has appeared in 22 matches for the Griffins, scoring two goals.
As previously announced, right-back Joe Rodon is heading in the opposite direction.
