The appointment has been officially announced.

Details: Today, on the official page of Italian side Atalanta on social network X, it was announced that the team’s new head coach is 67-year-old Italian Maurizio Sarri.

It is reported that Sarri has signed a contract with Atalanta until 2029 and will earn 3.5 million euros per year.

Sarri replaces Raffaele Palladino, who left Atalanta a week ago.

Sarri’s previous club was Lazio, which he took charge of in 2021 and managed until May of this year, with a one-season break.

Following the results of last season, Atalanta finished 7th in Serie A and qualified for the Conference League qualifiers.
