Today, Atalanta has officially announced the appointment of their new sporting director.

Details: On their social media platforms, the legendary Italian club Atalanta officially introduced former Juventus and Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli as the new director of "La Dea." The terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.

Giuntoli first rose to prominence during his tenure at Carpi, where he guided the club from Serie D up to Serie A in just four seasons. He later cemented his reputation at Napoli, leading the team to their first league title in 33 years and bringing championship glory back to Naples.

Before joining Atalanta, Giuntoli spent two years with Juventus, where he helped the Turin giants capture the Coppa Italia.
