Official! Arsenal winger joins Feyenoord
Reiss Nelson is back where one of the most memorable chapters of his career began.
Details: Feyenoord have officially announced the return of 26-year-old English winger Reiss Nelson. The Rotterdam club confirmed that the player has signed a contract covering the 2026/27 season and arrives on a free transfer after leaving Arsenal.

For Nelson, this is a return to familiar surroundings. The winger already represented Feyenoord on loan from Arsenal during the 2021/22 campaign, gradually establishing himself as a regular starter and helping the Dutch side reach the UEFA Europa Conference League final against Roma in Tirana.
After that spell in Rotterdam, Nelson returned to England and later spent periods on loan with Fulham and Brentford. His long association with Arsenal came to an end this summer, allowing Feyenoord to bring him back without paying a transfer fee.
Feyenoord have also confirmed that Nelson will wear the number 17 shirt. The Englishman said he had continued to follow the club after leaving and is eager to become an important part of the team again as quickly as possible.
It is worth noting that Nelson joined Arsenal's academy at the age of nine and made his first-team debut when he was only 17. His new spell at Feyenoord therefore begins at a club he already knows extremely well.
