Obvious? Kyrgios names the main contender for Wimbledon victory
The main draw of the third Grand Slam tournament of the season has kicked off in England: Wimbledon matches are underway. And Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios already knows who will triumph in the men's event.
Details: Kyrgios named Carlos Alcaraz as the top favorite to win, as the Spaniard hasn't surrendered the Wimbledon crown to anyone for two years. Grass seems to be his ideal surface, given how rarely he loses on it.
Quote: "Alcaraz is the favorite to win Wimbledon. I saw the stats today: he’s won four grass-court tournaments and lost only three matches on this surface in his entire career. So he is the clear favorite.
What I like about Alcaraz is that there’s something of Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic in him. He sort of combines all of them. He knows how to entertain the crowd, he’s physically strong, always smiling, and genuinely enjoys the game. I think Alcaraz is the obvious favorite," he said on talkSPORT.
