NPFL: Wikki Tourists' Head Coach Maikaba Hails Team’s Resilience After Stunning Victory Over Enyimba

Wikki Tourists technical adviser Abdullahi Maikaba has expressed his satisfaction after his side defied the odds to secure a stunning 1–0 victory over Enyimba, one of the toughest sides to beat on home soil.

Speaking after the match, Maikaba praised his players for their commitment, discipline, and character throughout the encounter. He described the performance as a much-needed morale booster for the team, especially coming from such a difficult away fixture.

“I told my boys that getting a point here is possible, and it has happened. I’m happy,” Maikaba said, clearly delighted with the team’s resilience and tactical execution.

The crucial 0–1 win at the Aba Stadium lifts Wikki Tourists to 7th place on the NPFL26 log, marking a significant climb in the standings. The Warriors will now shift attention to Matchday 14, where Wikki Tourists will host Bayelsa United in Bauchi.
