NPFL: Wikki Tourists Coach Bashir Sale Hails Team Effort After 1–1 Draw with Bayelsa United
Wikki Tourists Chief Coach Bashir Sale has acknowledged that his technical team expected a difficult contest following the club’s 1–1 draw with Bayelsa United at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi on Sunday.
Speaking after the match with the club’s media team, Sale praised his players for their hard work, determination, and overall performance. He also urged fans to continue showing support and patience as the team pushes forward.
“Thank God that it ended in a draw, though it was not the result we prepared for,” he said.
Currently, Wikki Tourists occupy seventh place on the league table. The Bauchi Elephants will now shift their focus to their next assignment, a challenging away trip to Benin City, where they will face Bendel Insurance next Saturday.
