NPFL: Bayelsa United’s Memeru Okara Confident Team Is “Moving in the Right Direction” After Third Straight Unbeaten Match

Bayelsa United head coach Memeru Okara believes his team is finally finding its rhythm after Sunday’s 2–1 victory over Abia Warriors, a result that extended their unbeaten run to three matches.

Speaking during his post-match press conference, Okara was asked whether Bayelsa United were truly back on the rise. His response was brief but confident: “We are moving towards that direction.”

The recent run of good form has lifted Bayelsa United to midtable with 18 points from 13 NPFL games. The Prosperity Boys will now turn their attention to their next fixture, a challenging away trip to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, where they will face Wikki Tourists.
