NPFL: Warri Wolves Coach Aluma Napoleon Praises Team’s Discipline After 1–0 Win Over Nasarawa United

Warri Wolves technical adviser Aluma Napoleon has lauded his players for strictly following tactical instructions during their hard-fought 1–0 victory over league leaders Nasarawa United in a Matchday 15 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clash on Sunday at the Southern Delta University Stadium in Ozoro.

Speaking after the game, Napoleon highlighted the difficulty of facing the top side in the league but credited his team for their discipline and execution.

“Playing against the league’s table toppers is tough and challenging,” Napoleon told the club’s media.

“But we had to be tactically smart to manage the game to our advantage. The boys executed the plan well, and this win means a lot to the team.”

The important victory lifts Warri Wolves to sixth place on the NPFL table with 27 points. Their next assignment is a trip to face Plateau United.
