While the club celebrates the new addition, Remo Stars are also dealing with disciplinary measures imposed by the NPFL. The league has fined the club ₦7 million following security lapses during their Matchday 20 fixture against Ikorodu City.
In addition to the financial penalty, the NPFL has directed Remo Stars to play all their remaining home matches for the season at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan. The decision is expected to impact the club’s home advantage as the campaign enters a crucial phase.
