NPFL: Nasarawa United Boss Mbwas Mangut Delighted After Dominant 3–0 Win to Reclaim NPFL Top Spot
Nasarawa United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut has expressed his excitement after his side reclaimed the top position in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with a commanding 3–0 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors on Matchday 14 at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday evening.
Speaking to the club’s media after the match, Mangut praised his team’s execution and strategy, noting that their game plan worked perfectly.
“I feel very excited. We planned to approach today’s game differently, and I’m glad it paid off with multiple goals,” he said.
He also acknowledged the effort of the visitors, adding,
“I give respect to the opponents because they also had their playing time and created some chances.”
Looking ahead, the Solid Miners’ coach said the team will stay focused as they prepare for their next challenge.
“Our next game will be taken as it comes against Warri Wolves in Delta State. It’s a long journey, but we hope to approach it with high hopes and expectations,” he added.
Nasarawa United remain unbeaten in their last four NPFL matches and will travel next weekend for a tough away clash against Warri Wolves in Ozoro, Delta State.
