NPFL: Nasarawa United Beat Niger Tornadoes 1-0 to End Winless Run

Nasarawa United ended their three-match winless streak with a 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes on Sunday evening at the Lafia Township Stadium in Lafia on Matchday Six of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Harrison Ebah broke the deadlock in the 20th minute, giving Nasarawa United the lead before the break.

The goal proved decisive as Nasarawa United held on to secure all three points and record their second win of the season.

The victory sees Nasarawa United return to winning ways after three matches without a victory. They will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Shooting Stars at the Lekan Salami Stadium.

For Niger Tornadoes, the defeat extends their poor run as they are now winless in their last five matches.

The Minna-based side will be hoping to return to winning ways when they face Kun Khalifa in their next fixture.
