NPFL: Enyimba FC Denies Claims of 50% Salary Slash for Players

The management of Enyimba Football Club of Aba has firmly denied reports claiming the team reduced players’ salaries by 50 percent.

In an official statement shared on the club’s verified social media platforms, Enyimba dismissed the rumour as entirely false. According to the management, at no time did the club approve, initiate, or implement any form of salary cut for its players or staff.

The club emphasized its commitment to maintaining professionalism, stating:
“Enyimba FC wishes to categorically state that at no time did the management approve, initiate, or implement any salary reduction. The club remains fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in its relationship with players and staff.”

They further described the report as a fabrication, urging the public to ignore it.
