NPFL: Emmanuel Deutsch Admits Nasarawa United Deserved Victory After Enyimba Defeat

Enyimba technical adviser Emmanuel Deutsch has admitted that Nasarawa United deserved their victory after the People's Elephant suffered a 1-0 defeat in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 10 encounter at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

Deutsch acknowledged that it was a difficult contest for his side, who failed to take their chances, including a late opportunity in the 92nd minute.

Speaking to the media after the match, the Enyimba coach congratulated Nasarawa United for making the most of their opportunity.

"It was a very tough game for us today. They took advantage of their chance, even though we also had ours in the 92nd minute. But the better side won today, and congratulations to them," Deutsch told the media after the game.

"I believe Enyimba will recover from their current predicaments."
