NPFL: Bendel Insurance Coach Kennedy Boboye Targets Top-Three Finish After Warri Wolves Draw
Bendel Insurance head coach Kennedy Boboye has reiterated his side’s ambition to secure a top-three finish in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), following their goalless draw against Warri Wolves in Ozoro, Delta State.
The stalemate saw both teams share the points, but Boboye made it clear that the club’s goal of qualifying for the 2026/2027 CAF interclub competitions remains unchanged.
Speaking after the match, the coach emphasized that the team is still on course to achieve its target.
“We came into the league with the objective of finishing in the top-three bracket for possible continental football next term,” Boboye said. “That hasn’t changed.
“That was our target. Since we’ve got a draw here, we are going to restrategise to make sure we get things right in the coming games.”
