Nottingham’s management considering sacking Sean Dyche after defeat to Leeds
The future of Sean Dyche at Nottingham Forest has come under serious threat following Friday’s 1-3 defeat to Leeds.
Details: According to the BBC, internal pressure on Dyche within the club has reached a critical level. Sources indicate that the unwavering support the manager previously enjoyed is no longer as solid. The board is extremely dissatisfied with the manner in which the team capitulated at Elland Road, and Dyche’s position is now under intense internal scrutiny.
It’s worth recalling that the much-anticipated Leeds vs Nottingham clash turned into a disaster for the Forest side: by the 86th minute, they were trailing 0-3 after goals from Bogle, Okafor, and Calvert-Lewin, with only Lorenzo Lucca’s debut strike at the death serving as a consolation.
Remember, Sean Dyche took charge of Nottingham in October 2025, replacing Ange Postecoglou. Since then, he has overseen 24 matches, recording 10 wins, 5 draws, and 9 defeats.
Reminder: Sean Dyche is in contention for the Premier League Manager of the Month award in January.
