Not this year: full completion date for Camp Nou revealed

The situation surrounding the renovation of Camp Nou remains complex, but there is now a confirmed timeline for when the stadium will be fully completed.

Details: According to Marca, Barcelona recently presented a video update to season ticket holders detailing the current state of the reconstruction. During this event, the club announced that the stadium will be 100% ready by the summer of 2026, with final touches completed in 2028.

It has also been revealed that the revamped stadium will feature 9,400 VIP seats, 3,400 of which will be retractable. Barcelona has already sold 60% of this premium seating infrastructure, securing an annual revenue of €33.5 million.

Recently, reports indicated that the club expects Hansi Flick’s team to return to Spotify Camp Nou by May, potentially allowing El Clásico against Real Madrid to be played at their home ground.

Reminder: Barcelona officially announced the sale of 475 VIP seats for the next 30 years. These seats will be available as soon as the team returns to the renovated stadium. The deal is reportedly worth between €100-110 million.
