The reconstruction of Camp Nou is ongoing, and Barcelona is currently playing at an alternative stadium. However, the club has already started selling seats for the updated venue.
Details: Barcelona officially announced that they have sold 475 VIP seats for the next 30 years. These will become available once the team moves back to the renovated stadium. The deal is estimated to bring in around €100–110 million.
The identities of the investors and the exact financial impact of the agreement on Barcelona remain undisclosed. However, club president Joan Laporta stated that the funds helped the club register Dani Olmo and cover outstanding debts for the Camp Nou renovations.
The lack of transparency regarding the investors' identities has drawn criticism from Laporta’s opponents. Reports suggest that the investors are from the Middle East.
Reminder: Despite Joan Laporta’s claims of aiming to return to Camp Nou in March 2025, the club is reportedly preparing to host matches at their home ground as early as next season.
