“Not that good.” Guardiola responds to Capello's remarks about killing Italian football

In October, former AC Milan head coach Fabio Capello accused Serie A of imitating Pep Guardiola, and the coach himself of harming Italian football. The Spaniard denies all allegations.

Details: Guardiola joked that he hears everything said about him, but at the same time he is not good enough to harm Italian football.

Quote: “I listen to everything people say about me. Everything, so be careful. Mr. Fabio Capello has said this more than once. I'm not that good to destroy Italian football. Italian football is much more important than what we do. I send my hugs to Fabio, big hugs,” Guardiola stated.

Reminder: Capello previously stated that Italian clubs used to dominate thanks to pressing and vertical football, but by imitating Guardiola, local football is ten years behind, and now teams are slower on the pitch, and ball possession doesn't yield results.
