Arsenal fans on the eve of the derby with Tottenham are reading with nervousness the news about the health of the leader of the Canaries Martin Odegaard, and the news is not exactly comforting for them.

According to Norway's national team doctor Ola Sand, the midfielder will miss not only the match against Tottenham, but also the Canaries' first game in the Champions League, and is likely to be ready only for the next pause for international matches:

‘Ankle injuries like this often take at least three weeks,’ Sand told VG Sporten. ‘Everything else is just a bonus. And then it can drag on.’

Recall that earlier photos emerged of Odegaard travelling on crutches and with assistance as a consequence of an ankle injury in a match for the Norwegian national team.

The midfielder could arrive in the national team with the injury, which was previously hinted at by Norway's head coach Stale Solbakken.
