Florentino Pérez and A22 Sports Management continue working on a new tournament that could replace the Champions League. However, the project has now been rebranded.
Details: Instead of the European Super League, the new tournament will be called the “Unity League”.
According to Ben Jacobs, A22 has registered the new project and already informed UEFA.
The tournament will feature annual qualification, and teams will be divided into four leagues:
- Star League
- Gold League
- Blue League
- Union League
It is expected that the new tournament could launch as early as September 2025 or 2026.
Reminder: Earlier reports stated that 60 clubs have already agreed to participate in the new tournament.
