On Tuesday, April 15, information surfaced that Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois will soon hold a rematch, supposedly set for July.

Details: In an interview with the Ukrainian publication Sport-express, Usyk's promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk confirmed that negotiations are indeed underway, but at the moment there are no specifics. According to him, there are many nuances that still need to be resolved.

Quote: "Such information has indeed appeared. I saw it too. However, we have not announced anything yet — and there are reasons for that. At the moment, I cannot either confirm or deny the information from The Ring journalists.

Let me say this — we have been negotiating with Daniel Dubois' team for more than a month, but as of today, there are no specifics," Krasyuk noted.

According to preliminary data, the fight could take place on July 12 at London's Wembley Stadium. However, Krasyuk added that there is no exact date or even month yet.

Reminder: Earlier, the WBO reported that they received an official petition for the Usyk – Dubois fight for the title of undisputed world champion, but previously it mandated the Ukrainian to defend his WBO title against mandatory challenger Joseph Parker.
