Liverpool and Everton are set to clash in the 30th round of the English Premier League in early April, but both teams have expressed a desire to reschedule.

Details: The Merseyside derby is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, but Liverpool and Everton would prefer to play 24 hours earlier, on April 1.

According to the Daily Mail, the issue arises because Arsenal is playing Fulham on Tuesday, and Everton is set to face the "Gunners" on Saturday, April 5. This gives Everton less time to prepare.

However, the Premier League has rejected this request. The league's management remains firm, as the original date does not force either club to play another match within 60 hours, which is the minimum allowable period.

Reminder: Liverpool's head coach Arne Slot wrote in his book that the lost Premier League trophy is something that will haunt both him and the players for a long time. Yet, Slot considers the true trophy to be the memory he leaves with the fans.
