Mohamed Salah criticised Liverpool head coach Arne Slot, and it seems the two have been unable to mend fences.
Details: According to insider indykaila News, after Wednesday’s training session on 19 December and their face-to-face discussion, Mohamed Salah did not apologise to Arne Slot.
As previously reported, Mohamed Salah is unlikely to feature in Liverpool’s next match, scheduled for Saturday, 13 December.
Worth noting, Liverpool defeated Inter, marking their first away victory in the UEFA Champions League without their Egyptian winger since 2009. That match was also Jamie Carragher’s final European outing for the club.
Reminder: A controversial moment decided the outcome of the game. In the 87th minute, Liverpool was awarded a penalty against Inter. An Inter defender pulled Florian Wirtz by the shirt, causing the German midfielder to fall. The referees still awarded the penalty, which was successfully converted.
