"No one else will come". President of Bavaria Munich announced the end of transfers
The transfer window in Germany opened on July 1st, and during this time, clubs have already made several purchases and sales. Bayern Munich has been active as well. They have sold Malik Tillman to PSV for €12 million and strengthened their squad with players such as Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, João Palhinha from Fulham, Hiroki Ito from Stuttgart, Bryan Zaragoza from Granada, among others, for a total expenditure of over €145 million.
Bayern Munich's current transfer balance stands at -€132.90 million, which appears to be the limit the club is willing to reach.
In an interview, Bayern's honorary president Uli Hoeness stated that the club's transfers for this offseason are complete. However, he clarified that if a few players are sold, they might revisit the matter. His words were quoted by Florian Plettenberg:
"Absolutely no one else will come unless two or three players leave first. Max Eberl and Christoph Freund [the club's sporting directors] know for sure that no more signings should be expected unless one or two outstanding players leave."
He also added that there have been no "suitable offers" for many of their key players, despite interest from top clubs:
"So far, there are no suitable offers for Kimmich, Upamecano, Davies, De Ligt, Goretzka, Coman, Gnabry, and Mazraoui."
The transfer window in Germany will remain open until August 30th, and surely, clubs will continue to approach Bayern with offers to buy certain players. Given the interest in their key players mentioned by Hoeness, Bayern can expect new proposals.
