If you’re late to training too often under Flick, you could end up broke in no time.
Details: In a recent interview with El Homiguero, Barcelona’s 25-year-old forward Ferran Torres revealed that the team’s German head coach, Hansi Flick, has implemented tough rules and a strict disciplinary code.

Torres shared that Barcelona players now face serious fines for being late to training sessions or team meetings. And if someone shows up late on matchday, the penalty is off the charts:
“Hansi Flick has just changed the rules on lateness.
If it’s matchday and you’re late, you have to pay a €40,000 fine,” Ferran stated.
The German football school is renowned for its rigor and discipline, and Flick clearly upholds this tradition—even in the more relaxed environment of Catalan football.
Hansi Flick took over as Barcelona head coach in the summer of 2024. Since then, the German specialist has managed 99 matches, recording 74 wins, 9 draws, and 16 defeats. Last season, Flick led Barcelona to the La Liga title.
