No longer single. Kai Havertz got married while on vacation

Many footballers are still on vacation. After club competitions and international duties, players have earned a well-deserved break and are spending their time as they wish.

One such player is Arsenal and Germany star Kai Havertz. On Thursday, he married model Sophia Weber. This was confirmed by photos posted by the footballer and his now-wife on Instagram.

The wedding date is marked by a caption on one of the posts: "18.07.24 – forever."

The couple grew up in the same neighborhood and have known each other for a long time, starting their relationship in 2018.

Havertz proposed to his beloved last year, shortly after his transfer to Arsenal. The couple shared photos of this event on social media, captioned with a ring and heart emoji.

The wedding took place in Germany at Bensberg Castle in Bergisch Gladbach following the conclusion of Euro 2024.

Sophia Weber has already changed her last name to Havertz on her Instagram account.

The newlyweds are unlikely to enjoy an extended break, as Arsenal's preparations for the new season start next week. They have four matches scheduled, with the final one against Havertz's former club, Bayer Leverkusen.
