Ivory Coast loses a key player.

Details: According to The Athletic, the Canadian government has finally denied a visa to 23-year-old Nice and Ivory Coast forward Elye Wahi, preventing him from entering the country.

Reports indicate that this decision is due to Wahi currently being under investigation for match-fixing, which effectively makes it impossible for him to obtain a visa under Canadian law.

As a result, Wahi will not be able to help his national team in the match against Germany, scheduled for June 20 at BMO Field in Toronto.
