No chance, no chance! Jaissle kills the Lewis Hall to United story live on TV
Manchester United's pursuit of Lewis Hall lasted exactly two words on live television.
Details: Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle has confirmed that Lewis Hall will not join Manchester United, answering Peter Schmeichel's suggestion on ViaPlay with a firm no chance, no chance. The exchange happened live after the Magpies' 2:2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.

Schmeichel, working as a pundit, told Jaissle that United were looking at his left-back, and the German coach did not hesitate for a second. United have tracked Hall for weeks and even made contact with his camp, but Newcastle, who have already lost Guimaraes, Tonali and Gordon this summer, rejected their enquiry immediately.
Hall, 21, joined Newcastle permanently from Chelsea in 2024 for around €33 million and has become England's first-choice left-back, with a contract until 2029. It's worth noting that United have already turned to alternatives, with Fulham's Antonee Robinson and a Bundesliga star now on their radar as the deadline approaches.
Reminder: Manchester United finds an alternative to Hall! Bundesliga star could join the Premier League.
