During the winter transfer window, Chelsea was highly active in the market, primarily focusing on offloading players. One of the candidates for departure was Christopher Nkunku.

Details: According to The Athletic, Nkunku did not request a transfer this winter, though he was open to a potential move. Chelsea was willing to let him go and remains open to selling him in the summer. The club is set to demand £65 million for the French forward.

Manchester United and Bayern Munich showed concrete interest, but neither club came close to finalizing a deal. As a result, Nkunku will remain at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season.

So far this season, he has scored 13 goals across all competitions. However, he is reportedly unhappy with the coaching staff's preference for Nicolas Jackson.

Reminder: Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has outlined his objective to return the London club to the UEFA Champions League. According to him, the club’s management has set a two-year target for the Blues to regain their place in Europe's elite competition.
