Tennis star Nick Kyrgios has decided to stoke the rumor mill about romances on the tennis tour, discussing the potential relationship between Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz. The Australian opened up about it in a conversation with talkSPORT.
Reporters asked Kyrgios what he thought about the possibility of a romance between the Brit and the Spaniard, who are set to play mixed doubles together at the US Open in September.
"I think it's a love triangle—Draper, Alcaraz, and Raducanu. They're fighting over Raducanu I think, I'm not sure," Kyrgios said with a laugh.
It's unclear how serious the Aussie was, but his comments are sure to spark plenty of gossip among tennis fans who love a romantic subplot.
It's worth noting that Raducanu and Alcaraz have been friends since their teenage years. Previously, the Brit just laughed off suggestions of a romance between them, but in this world, anything is possible.
