After a disappointing 2025 season at Eintracht, French striker Elye Wahi has been handed a chance to reboot his career with a fresh start at a new club.

Details: According to L'Equipe, Nice have secured Elye Wahi on loan from Eintracht until the end of the season, with no option to buy.

Wahi agreed to the loan without a purchase option after discussions with the “Eaglets” new head coach Claude Puel on Monday. The forward is expected to arrive in Nice as early as Wednesday.

This season, the Frenchman has featured in fourteen matches for the German club across all competitions, registering just one goal and three assists. Now, he'll look to make his mark in Ligue 1.

It's worth noting that the striker previously played in France for Marseille, Lens, and Montpellier.

Reminder: Claude Puel was officially appointed as the new head coach of Nice.
