Transfer drama and intrigue continue to swirl around 24-year-old Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Todibo will not be included in Nice’s squad for the next friendly match. The defender only wants to move to Juventus, and negotiations between the clubs are ongoing.
It was previously reported that Todibo has already given verbal consent to join Juve, with a potential five-year contract in the works.
Preliminary information suggests that the Bianconeri plan to offer less than €40 million for the player. Todibo is waiting to see how the situation unfolds.
Earlier reports indicated that Nice had reached an agreement with West Ham for the 24-year-old defender, with the Hammers set to take him on loan with an option to buy for £27 million.
Todibo was also previously linked with a move to Manchester United, but as both the English club and Nice are owned by the same entity, the deal was blocked by UEFA.
