Nicaragua approach shock Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos at Orlando Stadium
Hugo Broos was visibly frustrated man at Orlando Stadium last night after Nicaragua played to a goalless draw against Bafana Bafana.
The South African coach was a frustrated man in Soweto as his side also failed to capitalise on scoring from the penalty spot against Juan Cruz Real's man.
Bafana's Burnley forward Lyle Foster hit his 12-yeards kick against the crossbar when the hosts nation had a chance to take the lead.
This left the Belgian coach livid.
“It was a very difficult game, against a very, very negative opponent – I don’t know what they came to do here, but it was just defending and kicking the ball in front,” he said after the match.
Bafana now face Jamaica on June 5 as they finalise their preparation for the World Cup opening match six days later.
