NFL star Demarcus Robinson arrested for DUI
Los Angeles Rams player Demarcus Robinson was arrested early Monday morning on a highway in Los Angeles, TMZ reports. It is believed the police pulled him over for speeding, and it is suspected that the NFL player was driving under the influence of alcohol.
A white Dodge sedan with Robinson behind the wheel was stopped by police for speeding, with the vehicle traveling at more than 160 km/h. Officers suspected the driver of being intoxicated, but Robinson refused to take a breathalyzer test.
The football player was arrested and taken to the station for further processing, where he was issued a warning before being handed over to the responsible party.
Robinson has not yet commented on the incident. A Rams representative confirmed that the team is aware of the situation, and head coach Sean McVay will address the media on Tuesday.
Demarcus Robinson has been with the Los Angeles Rams since 2023. Previously, he played for teams such as the Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, and Baltimore Ravens.
