Newly-promoted Betway Premiership side coach Dr Xanti Pupuma may not be in charge of the team in the PSL
Dr Xanti Pupuma is not sure if he will continue as coach of Milford FC coach in the Betway Premiership next season.
Pupuma guided his side to their historic PSL promotion on Saturday after playing 1-1 draw against Magesi FC at Seshego Stadium.
Milford FC won the promotion via the PSL Promotion/Relegation Play-Off having managed to win the three-team mini league, toppling Cape Town City and Magesi FC for a spot in the Betway Premiership.
While he is the club chairman, Pupuma said he will speak to the ‘chairman’ regarding his future with the club.
“I’ll talk to the chairman,” said Dr Pupuma sarcastically when asked about his future.
“No, we are going to sit and talk about it with my leaders and see what is best for me, what is for my other job and for the team.
“I don’t want to compromise the team and my other job. So PSL is a bit demanding, so we are going to sit, go through the programme and see if it’s doable.
“If it’s doable then we will go on with it.”
