Newcastle worried about Isak's future. What's that got to do with Chelsea?

Forward Aleksandr Isak is a valuable player for Newcastle and the Magpies want to keep him for as long as possible. However, despite the striker having four more years on his contract, the club want to extend the agreement and with that, it is believed there could be problems at St James' Park.
Details: As reported by Caught Offside, Newcastle feared that Chelsea could renew their interest in Isak and this could make it difficult to extend his contract. Although the club shows confidence that the Swede will remain in the team, but there is an understanding that big-name teams may try to poach him to them.
Reminder: Newcastle had earlier agreed a contract extension with another star who has been linked with a top club, namely winger Anthony Gordon. It was previously reported that Liverpool were interested in him.
