Details: According to The Times, the new management at Newcastle is dissatisfied with the current state of St. James' Park.

The owners plan to fully renovate the stadium and increase its capacity. Currently, St. James' Park accommodates 52,298 fans, but the club aims to raise that number to at least 70,000.

At this stage, Newcastle is developing a renovation project, which is expected to cost the club around £1 billion.
